ClassyMusicSnob A beautiful hug of black metal and dungeon synth that feels warm and comfortable due to the lo-fi production. The sound and feel is nostalgic, however black metal is rarely this warm and even when it is, it feels unnatural. this does not. This is just absolutely stunning and a joy to listen to. 4.5/5 Favorite track: III.

Inky Lovely black metal coming from the next room over. FFO: Atmoblack, the plight of the peasantry

Voidlairofthewolv This album glows with a sorrowful but hopeful atmosphere. The instrumentation has an ethereal and ancient feeling to it, almost as if it’s not fully manifested but yet always has exist. Vocals alternate from pained shrieks to ritualistic chants. An album to put on and let its hazy golden light wash over you. Favorite track: III.

about

The love of beauty, the obfuscation of identity, the magickal transference of the self: Koldovstvo's (trans.: witchcraft, sorcery) Bewitched Black Metal arrives from an unknown source on their debut album "Ni Tsarya, Ni Boga" (trans.: "Neither The Tsar, Nor God"). Weaving a story as obscure as their music itself, Koldovstvo's mystifying take on black metal embraces the genre at its core and vitrifies it upon contact. With soaring, sung vocals and driving music steeped in supernatural misery, "Ni Tsarya, Ni Boga" will strike you to the very core.

"Ni Tsarya, Ni Boga" releases March 5th through Babylon Doom Cult Records (LP, EU/ROW), Extraconscious Records (LP, US), and Fólkvangr Records (CS).
